Galba, as Imperator. 3 April-2nd half of June 68. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.40 g, 7 h), uncertain mint in Spain. GALBA IMP Laureate head of Galba to right, globe at point of neck. Rev. VIRTVS Virtus standing left, holding Victory on globe in her right hand and parazonium in her left. BMC 195 var. (differing obverse legend arrangement). Cohen 336. RIC 30 var. (differing obverse legend arrangement). A very rare variety. Minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
